Okay! Today was Honours Day and Night. A day where students are recognised for their affords and contributions to the school.Yay! I so happy! My 2nd in two years. I got a Distiction for Scouts and a Meritorous Service for Prefects. Two certificates, two metals, one gold, the other silver. Should I say I deserved them! I guess so! I placed in my efforts in all that I do! Don't you agree? For honours day, the MC, Ms Olivia Li was so so sucky/ unglamouros, untrained/shameless. OMG! It was supposely to be a formal event though the GOH was the principal but she started giggling and laughing on start while reading a message. WTH! Where in the world would a proper MC do that! So embarassing, Good thing the GOH was not some big shot. Wore my bare and empty Ventures Uniform there with the other ventures and of course I would definitely rather wear my scout uniform with all the badges sewed onto it or my Prefects Blazer. Too bad! My highest award is from Scouts. This year the number of Awardees has way exceeded past years, reaching a number of 600 awardees. I really pity those Mrs Judy Yeow and GOH Mr Goh Jin Hian, Son of Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong as they had to shake hundreds of hands. Muahaha! :p This year's Honours Night was not as Glamorous as past years due to the sheer number of awardees which cannot fit into the audithorium where else in previous years, Awardees and Guest ate inside there as well. The day was indeed a boring one as being sitted at the ending part of the hall, we all(distiction ppl) had to wait for all those with lower awards to finish first before it was our turn. Haiz! So tired! School tomorrow! :( Then at honours night! The scouts and ventures had to shake the GOH with our Left hand(supposely to be closer to our heart) but the GOH didn't know that thus causing most of the us(or maybe those few having merit award) to become a laughing stock. Funny Funny Funny!!! After the whole presentation was our catered dinner from Raseal which was supposely to be worth $20.00. Not too bad though! Shouldn't it be free? The UYOs then had a fun time again doing silly things as usual as well as a group photo. Today would be make it the fourth time I shaked Mr Ng's hand. Oh ya! I also wonder how come that there was a secondary 2 scout who received an award under commendation for scouts? 1st time in our scounting in ACS BR history? I guess so! Pulling of strings I guess!!!
